Wine Time {Tuesday Ten}

Wine Time {Tuesday Ten}

I finally found a little extra help for my insomnia and I am taking better care of my skin. I also pulled the trigger on a fancy new handbag. Read all the deets below.

I’m a total insomniac and I try to stay away from narcotics, in Ayurveda (one of the oldest systems of natural healing in the world), warm milk is a common remedy for sleeplessness, I found this recipe for moon milk that will take you right to dreamland. You can get ashwagandha in health food stores or on Amazon.

Everyone knows I have a thing for asymmetric/mismatched earrings so when I found these at Pixie Market, my favorite market btw, I was stoked! And they were only $18.

I finally pulled the trigger and ordered the Boyy Bag, not the Chanel, the cooler one, the less expensive but cooler one. I am so excited and I cannot wait to carry it all summer.

I also ordered this apron dress as I will have to wait tables to pay for the Boyy Bag but fashion is worth the sacrifice.

This is another dress I ordered and I can’t wait to wear it with a sweater, cardigan, t-shirt, and plain with a sexy pair of heels, or dressed down with a pair of sandals. The possibilities are endless.

My new favorite recipe is frozen meatballs (I like a vegetarian meatball but any type will work) cooked with BBQ sauce and served over cauliflower rice. So freakin’ yummy and so freakin’ easy.

My skin has been super dry during the cold months so I changed my skincare a little. I mix 2 drops of BeautyCounter No.1 Brightening Facial Oil and 7 drops of Herbivore Lapis Oil and massage it into my face. I finish with Nurse Jamie Fade to Light Brightening Moisturizer. All of this together has kept my face really soft during the cold months. I think it’s really important to pay attention to YOUR skin as no one has the same needs. I have a lot of sun damage and a lot of dryness. {I buy my BeautyCounter from an individual locally but you can buy it online if you don’t know anyone who sells it}

This wand alleviates the symptoms of wine allergies, including headaches, skin flush, congestion, and even hangovers. It removes histamine and sulfite preservatives without changing the taste, aroma or color of the wine. Have you ever heard of a better invention, me either!

One thing that I use daily is my moleskine, I use it for my daily pages each morning, for random notes throughout the day, and to write stories when I have a creative moment. I have used these notebooks for years. I encourage everyone to find a type of journaling activity that lets their creativity flow in whatever way works for them.

I have been more diligent with my skincare and I have been using more at-home face masks. Peter Thomas Roth is my absolute favorite and he sells a gift package that features six. I only like three of them but you may like all of them and you can save a little coin if get the gift pack. I love the Thermal Water Heat MaskPumpin Enzyme Mask, and the 24K Gold Mask. I use all of these on rotation every week.
