A Little Less {Tuesday Ten}

This week’s Tuesday Ten is all about using and spending less. Anything that can do double duty is my new best friend, and there’s a great dupe for everything if you look hard enough. But you don’t have to because I looked for you.

⓵ A reusable shopping bag as a gift bag is a way to give by buying and using less.

⓶ I really love mismatched earrings. Justine Clinquet does this beautifully. I also mismatch other pairs that I already own; a hoop with a dangling earring, a stud with a small hoop, etc.

⓷ Belt bags are everywhere right now, and I’m not mad about it. I got this one for $30 and this snakeskin bag for $20. You can wear them around your waist or crossbody (other belt bags linked below).

⓸ You know I love anything that can do double duty. The cloud paint from Glossier is giving me life right now, and I have been using it on my cheeks and lips.

⓹ I bought the Réalisation Par leopard skirt six months ago and still haven’t worn it. Now there’s a $7 dupe on Amazon (other, less expensive than the Réaliation, versions linked below).

⓺ These Proenza Schouler mules are my most recent designer steal (60% off). Because they are no longer on sale, I found a dupe under $50 here.

⓻ This hair scrub is the only one that clarifies without being too drying. It smells like heaven too.

⓼ Fingers crossed this at-home peel kit will be great for my skins texture and fine lines.

⓽ This lace bralette with a high neckline is the perfect solution to a top or dress that’s just a little too low-cut (as seen here).

10. A Stranger in the House  reminded me of The Passenger only better! Both are perfect to pass along to a friend or donate to a shelter when you’re finished.

  1. Great post Amanda! A great mindset for 2019 also, I have tried to be very intentional about every purchase I make and i love items I can reuse!

    1. I plan to be much more intentional about what I purchase this year. I also plan to rewear a lot of last years purchases in fresh new ways. That’s why I have always focused on buying timelines, classic pieces that will last forever. Happy New Year!

    1. I am trying to rewear what I have more in the new year. Buying a few quality pieces to mix in helps everything look more expensive. Happy New Year!
