This week’s 7 days of outfits had me dressing up a little more than last week. I even wore heels, kitten heels, but they still count. I wore several tops with asymmetrical sleeves. This was not planned, but apparently, I feel like anything with an asymmetrical or puffy sleeve needs to be in my closet.
Monday always has me busy in the office, and I like to be comfortable. These AGOLDE jeans and shearling slides were perfect for a casual WFH day. This top from Abercrombie is so great that I would have gotten it in white too if it had not sold out. When I find something I love I like to get it in every color. My Tory Burch bag is a perfect example, I have it in two colors, and I have my eye on this croc bag; I’m just waiting for a sale.
This sweater has a cutout in the back, so it’s super cute and can be worn day or night. After contemplating the Gucci belt for two years, I finally bought it. Gucci is the one thing I can never find on sale, so I always think long and hard before I invest. Gucci is an investment, but I have never been disappointed after I purchase anything by this brand; everything has been well worth the money. A quality accessory can elevate an entire outfit. I’ve had this Rejina Pyo bag for two years, and I still love it. It’s also available in a gorgeous chocolate brown.
Another cozy sweater with a cutout in the back. I love it when the weather cools off, and I can wear my sweaters. I have an entire wall in my closet dedicated to sweaters because I live in them during the colder months. These AG jeans are my new favorites. They are mid-rise, so they hit at the perfect spot on my waist; they hold just enough in without squeezing too much belly fat. Gucci loafers get softer each time you wear them; I have a black pair that are as soft as butter. This vintage bag has been on my wishlist for a while, so I finally pulled the trigger; I’m glad I did because I LOVE it.
When I received this sweater, I knew I was going to keep it. Love it! I think it will also look good with some cozy sweatpants. I found these Levi’s on Amazon, and they fit great. The jeans stretch a little when you wear them, so a belt is necessary, but it also makes them forgiving in the hip and thigh area (I’m not mad about that). This Bottega dupe that I found on Amazon is so great, under $40 (compared to $3,100), and it has a strap so it can also be worn as a crossbody bag.
The Line by K is a brand that I have fallen in love with, so simple yet unique. The brand runs small, so size up. Paige jeans fit like a dream. If you’ve never had a pair, go to a department store and try on a few different styles. I found the jeans for about $60 less on Amazon (linked below). The mules I’m wearing are very old, but I have worn these to death; they are a comfortable everyday shoe to have in your closet. The mesh sandals I’m wearing are a Jimmy Choo dupe but only 1/4 the price. My Olympia le Tan clutch was an investment. I have three (a new one and another seen here), and they are all so special to me; I feel like these clutches add something unique to a look.
Although this sweater has one long sleeve, it’s missing the other one, and it’s thin enough to wear during this transitional season. I’m in the South, so I experience all four seasons, usually in the same week, so transitional clothing is essential. These Levi’s are skinny but not too skinny. They also stretch as you wear them, making them a little more forgiving in the hip and thigh area (right where I need forgiveness). This vintage Chanel is a new addition, and I love the uniqueness of the bag. I wanted to add another Chanel, but I wanted something a little different.
All black everything is my Sunday best. An all-black outfit will always be classic. This bodysuit is from Zara, and it’s the best $20 I’ve ever spent there. I love it so much; I have it in 3 colors. I bought this cashmere sweater during the Nordstrom sale (in August), and I have worn it a minimum of 5 times (last seen here); it’s the perfect sweater. My skirt is sold out, but I linked an almost identical one for under $30. Satin skirts are becoming a closet staple, so you won’t be sorry if you add one to your wardrobe. These have been my most worn sandals all summer, and I’m fortunate enough to be able to wear them through November. I am positive I will wear them out next summer; they’re that good.
Zara bodysuit, Abercrombie skirt (sold out) similar here and here, Halogen sweater, Jimmy Choo sandals (sold out) available in snakeskin here and pink here, Amazon handbag (sold out) similar here and here, necklace, ring, bracelet set
