No.1 will be a sketchy beginning, but aren’t they all? Mistakes are how we learn or something philosophical like that…I’m aware that I take terrible selfies for a blogger, but it is what it is, and I’m working on it.
I took a selfie of everything I wore last week because the question I get asked the most is about putting outfits together quickly from the things already in a closet. Considering how much I shop, I surprised myself by how much I rewear things. My philosophy has always been to dress around neutrals and add in a few statement pieces (I love a statement bag) to get the most value out of your wardrobe.
Last week was very low-key, and I’m not mad about it. I didn’t dress up a lot and mostly wore a sweater and jeans while running errands and doing all the mom things.
Running errands and shopping for grey booties.
Mom things like grocery shopping and laundry.

Lazy mom day.
I did not include blurry photos of me in my two favorite robes that I told you about on the Tuesday Ten, but rest assured that I rewear those daily. I also skipped the workout clothing.
This week I dressed casually almost every day. I keep my closet stocked with basics in neutral colors, and I have everything organized by category and by color. By organizing my closet this way, I can find a complete outfit for any event within three minutes. I shop because I’m obsessed with clothes and I enjoy it, not because I need to.
Tell me about your outfits during the week. Do you get dressed up for work, or are you more casual every day?
